Report to Afrika Day
It has long been worked out, now the big day is over already!
On Saturday, 28.05.2011 in Gröbenzell, the first Africa Day, organized by 30 associations and groups was hold. Under mostly splendid weather conditions, many visitors found their way into the Gröbenzell Town Hall Square.
In addition to a colorful program with singing, dancing, food and music, the guests were also offered extensive talks and information stands to get various details about the work of the clubs. Influenced mostly by Active-for-Africa, a fashion show of traditional African robes was also organized. The successful event was rounded off by an inspiring, almost three-hour concert by the band Pamuzinda from Zimbabwe.
